DescriptionRectangular brass printing plate with rubber stamp in the middle. The brass plate is curved in an arc like manner. The stamps were used to mechanically reproduce Beatrice Fox Auerbach's signature.
2007.24.20 - Black rubber stamp attached to middle of brass plate.
2007.24.21 - Black rubber stamp on the left side in the middle of the plate. Opposite the stamp is a black rubber plate with tape around it to secure it to the brass. The discoloration of the brass and the bright ink on lettering of the stamp imply this item was well used.
