DescriptionWoman's hat in a stiff, curved shape, covered with synthetic flowers in shades of pink. The back of the hat is cut out in an approximate square and the front has a circular cut out on each side. The wired edges are bound with pale pink synthetic knit fabric. The hat base is stiff, pink lace, which is covered with the pink petals and green leaves. One original bobby-pin is still attached to the hat. A woven label is stitched to the inside back of the hat reads: "G. FOX & CO. INC. / HARTFORD CONNECTICUT / Serving Connecticut since 1847."
