DescriptionWoman's boned corset of white cotton, decorated along the top edge with white embroidery of leaves and grapes or berries. Shoulder straps appear to be later additions, or an alteration by the original owner. The shape pinches the waist and supports the bust, which is full. The center front is slightly pointed. The front opens with metal clasps; the back laces to adjust the fit.
