DescriptionSixth-plate ambrotype of Flora Elsie Birdsey when she was 17. She is wearing a dress with a small pattern on it (possibly floral; the plate deterioration makes it difficult to tell) and a small white collar. Her hair is parted in the middle and fashioned into ringlets.
