DescriptionSmall boy's bodice of a wool/silk mixed fabric, with brown stripes, purple and white stripes, and heathered brown/white stripes. The bodice has a broad neckline which is bound with self-fabric. The front and back are knife-pleated into a yoke across the shoulders, and into the 1 5/8-inch-wide waistband. The center back opening originally fastened with five buttons, but these are now missing. The short sleeves are pleated into the armscye. The bodice is lined with brown, plain-woven cotton. Originally, there were buttons around the waistband for attaching the skirt, but these have been removed.
