DescriptionDouble-sided quilt with blocks made from self-portraits drawn by Ann Molod's kindergarten class. Blocks are sewn together with dark blue fabric with white polka dots, and tied with red embroidery floss. Several squares are embroidered: two with a frog's head with the words Leap Into Literature in green thread around the image; one with a floral vine along the top and the words "May You Be Blessed With the Best!" in red and then signed by Judy Ondek and Pay Powers in green thread; one in red the with the words "Bugbee School June 1987"; two in red thread with the words "To Teach is to touch a life forever . . ."; one in red thread with the words "Mrs. Molod - our Super Kindergarten Teacher"; and one with a smiling bumble bee in yellow and black, with the words in yello thread "The Pride of Achievement".
