DescriptionStudio portrait of three teenage boys and three teenage girls. The boys are sons of Frank Woodbridge Cheney and the girls are daughters of Knight Dexter Cheney. They are all first cousins. In view are, from left to right: Charles Cheney (1866-1942), Elizabeth "Bess" Cheney (1865-1898), Howell Cheney (1870-1957), Harriet "Hart" Cheney (1867-1938), Horace Bushnell Cheney (1868-1936) and Helen Cheney (1868-1937). They are all wearing buttoned coats. The girls are all wearing hats with feathers in them. Charles and Howell are holding bowler hats. Elizabeth has a fur scarf and Helen has a fur muff. The photographer's backdrop behind them depicts a few columns.

There is a thin black border printed on the verso, with decorative corners.

The edges of the carte-de-visite are beveled and gilt.
