DescriptionMan's yachting outfit of natural-colored cotton duck (lightweight twill-woven canvas), consisting of a blouse (.a) and pants (.b). The blouse (.a) has a sailor collar and V-neckline, inset with a panel with a two-button closure. There is a pointed patch pocket over the proper left breast. The long, straight sleeves are stitched into a 1 1/4-inch-wide cuffs which button with a single bone button. The side and armscye seams are flat-felled.

The pants (.b) have a fly that fastens with two bone buttons. A white cotton rope is inserted along the top edge and ties at center front. There are two pockets in front, one over each hip. They are made by cutting an L-shaped slash parallel to the top edge and turning the corner to the inside. The pocket is backed with self-fabric. The pants are seamed on the inside of the leg only.
