DescriptionBed Jacket: Pink silk crepe bed jacket, designed by folding a square of fabric in half. The neck was cut in a cross, with the corners then folded back. The neck treatment is embellished with silk ribbon bows and rosettes at the corners, shoulderline, center front, and center back. There are no side seams. One outer corner on each side is turned up and secured with a silk rosette. The edges are finished with what appears to be a narrow machine zig-zag stitch.
Headband: The head piece is made of the same silk crepe, gathered along the center of the strip and edged with machine-made bobbin-type lace. Three ribbon rosettes decorate the head piece, one mounted at the center and one on either end. A matching silk satin ribbon (which is pink on one side and yellow on the other) is mounted along the length of the head piece, and extends on either end for tying.
