DescriptionRectangular covered storage basket made of plain-woven ash. The basket has a tapered neck and a rectangular rim. The rim is single wrapped and has half-round interior reinforcement. The warp and weft splints are primarily medium to wide, but some wefts are narrow. Swabbing on all the odd warps is done in Spanish brown and in bluing mixed with whitewash. The basket is lined with an 1818 newspaper.

The cover (.b) has half-round exterior reinforcement, but no interior reinforcement.
