DescriptionRectangular covered storage basket made of plain-woven ash and oak. The basket has a slightly tapered neck. The rectangular rim is single wrapped and double reinforced, with half-round interior and exterior reinforcement. The basket has two twig bail handles, wrapped with splint. The warp and weft splints are medium width, with three narrow-fitting splints at the base. The base is closed. Tight geometric and open geometric designs are painted in indigo blue and red lead. There is a small number "40" painted in indigo.

The rectangular cover (.b) has acute corners. It is decorated with unit-painted bars and X's, as well as a central medallion in blue and orange.
