MarkingsThere is a paper label printed in gold affixed to the interior of the lid. The middle of the label, printed horizontally, reads, "THE/ GRAPHOTROPE." The left side of the label, printed vertically, reads, "PATENTED/ JUNE 12TH/ 1866". The right side of the label, printed vertically, reads, "MANUFACTURED/ BY/ WM WALKER & CO/ NEW HAVEN, CT."
