DescriptionElevations, sections, plans and details show additions to two public schools. A three-floor addition to the Wilson Street School, connected to the existing building by a corridor, includes space for classrooms, a kindergarten, a loggia, and separate play spaces for boys and girls in the basement. A two-story addition for the Washington Street School also shows classrooms, separate entrances for boys and girls, and a kindergarten entrance. The facade shows elements of the Italian Renaissance and Beaux Arts styles, in a masonry building with arched entry and bracketed pediment.
