DescriptionArchitectural drawings include elevations, floor plans and sections of the Willimantic State Armory; some having penciled alternatives to roof pitch or design. Building includes a rectangular, two-story castellated section with castellated tower at one end and with two-story gable end structure at the other. Sections include staircases, structural components and horizontally paneled doors with arched headers. Basement floor plans includes a bowling alley, rifle range, store and equipment rooms, boiler and coal rooms, kitchen and mess room. Second floor includes kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, living room, card and pool room, meeting rooms, ladies' coat room and two-hundred gallery chairs.
