DescriptionAutomobiles, including a Volkswagen beetle, are parked in a parking lot in the left foreground and along a city street at the right. People walk on the sidewalks. Commercial buildings line the far side of the street. Some have store windows on the ground floor. One building has fire escapes on its side wall, suggesting residential use. Several buidlings have ornate cornices. In the background, City Place, a skyscraper, is under construction. The beams and girders of the framework are visible. Two cranes are on the roof. Another tall crane is in the street at the left. Trees and additional tall buildings are in the left background.
