DescriptionSmall, round, yellow earthenware pitcher with a yellow glaze. The pitcher has a flat base and sides that swell and then narrow to a short, cylindrical neck, flaring at the rim. To one side of the rim and neck, the ceramic has been pinched together to form a spout. Opposite the spout, a pulled strap handle connects the neck and widest point of the pitcher. The pitcher is glazed on the interior and on much of the exterior, although the lower sides and bottom of the pitcher are unglazed. The pitcher is decorated with streaks of brown slip beneath the spout.
There is crazing over all the glazed surfaces of the pitcher; many of the craze lines on the interior of the pitcher have darkened considerably over time. A single circular crack circles the foot of the pitcher; four cracks emerge from this crack and wind their way up the lower half of the pitcher.
