DescriptionRound, buff-colored earthenware washbowl with a blue-tinted glaze, a type of ceramic known as pearlware. The washbowl has a plain wide flat bottom that extends upward to a flared rim. The rim is decorated with a line of raised beads that have been painted blue. There are a few small scratches and brown spots on the surfaces of the washbowl. Some glaze has chipped off the foot, and an unknown brown substance has adhered to the foot as well. There is crazing over a few surfaces, most noticeably the top and bottom of the rim.
