DescriptionShallow porcelain dish in the shape of an enlongated shell. The edge of the white dish is decorated with a solid line of gilding that spreads and fades onto the surface. Then the dish is decorated in an overall pattern of small clusters of three gold dots intersperced with roses, pansies, and forget-me-nots in pink, blue, and yellow.

MarkingsVery faint impressed mark on the bottom of the dish, possibly consisting of a crown with the letters "[unknown] & Co" beneath.Purple, over-glaze, transfer-printed mark on the bottom of the dish, consists of a crown with "HAMMERSLEY & Co." above and "CHINA/ ENGLAND" below.
