DescriptionShort, round, Chinese hard paste porcelain vase in the shape of a well. The vase is hand-painted in underglaze cobalt blue, with a primarily floral decoration. The top half of the vase has white flowers on a blue background. The bottom half of the vase has blue flowers and trees on a white background. This is interrupted periodically by circles containing geometric forms and two small landscape scenes. One such landscape shows a Chinese semi-permanent structure and a small figure with a cane.

MarkingsThe bottom of the vase has a circular pattern, created by the molding and turning process. The center of the circle has what may be a "shou" mark, the Chinese symbol for longevity. On View
