DescriptionMen and a boy, all wearing dark clothing, stand beside and in front of a two-story frame building with brick chimneys, louvered shutters, and a porch. The building is built into the side of a hill, with a basement opening at ground level, on the left. A few women, a small boy, and a small girl are on the porch. A man and a small child sit on the porch roof. Additional buildings line a dirt street in the left bckground. A leafless elm tree is at the right.
