Stamped on the left interior of the shoe, "COMFORT"

Stamped on the right interior, "ALL LEATHER SHOE / COMBINATION LAST / 10 EEE / E10 0684202[8?]"

Stitched onto the left interior of the shoe is a blue cloth label with yellow writing that reads, "THE HANOVER SHOE"

There is worn printing on the sole; the only legible portion reads, "GO EAR"
NotesHistorical Note: Joe Morrone was the coach of the University of Connecticut's men's soccer team in about 1990. He is one of four collegiate coaches to register more than 350 career victories. Since arriving at UConn in 1969, Morrone has compiled an overall record of 324-158-48, for a 64.0 winning percentage. Under his coaching, UConn has reached the "final four" three times, has been nationally ranked 16th or better thirteen times, and has captured three Big East Conference Tournament Championships.
