DescriptionRound, plain, black basalt lidded teapot, with glaze applied to the inside only. The teapot (.a) swells from a relatively small base to a round lid (.b) with a small round finial. The teapot handle, most likely formed by extruding, is applied opposite the spout which was formed from two molded pieces.

MarkingsImpressed mark on bottom of the teapot, "WEDGWOOD", with serifs. Second impressed mark on the bottom of the teapot, "ENGLAND". There is an additional impressed mark, difficult to read, maybe a small impressed star.Notes)On View
