DescriptionSixth plate daguerreotype of one-year-old Luthera Maria Bromley, who is wearing a long white dress and sitting on a patterned carpet. Probably taken to mark the occasion of her first birthday. She died shortly thereafter.

The stitches on the purple silk pad possibly held a lock of the child's hair.
