DescriptionNinth-plate daguerreotype of Ella Coe Birdsey at the age of eight. She is wearing a dress with fan pleats in the bodice. The dress is worn off the shoulder. She is wearing a necklace with a pendant, and two bracelets (possibly coral). Her hair is parted in the middle and plaited on the sides, finished with large bows.
