DescriptionThree-quarter length portrait of Hope Amory Cheney Talcott wearing a wedding dress and veil. The dress has three-quarter length sleeves and a square neckline. There is a brooche pinned at the chest. The veil is pinned to the top of Hope's head and drapes over her shoulders and down her back. Hope is wearing a bracelet, necklace and earings. Her nails are painted. Her hair is styled in an updo and there is a small cluster of flowers pinned at her temple.

The photograph is attached to a thick piece of paper that has deckled edges.

Cataloging worksheet also notes that Hope was the daughter of Frank Dexter Cheney and Sara Otis Amory, and the granddaughter of Frank Woodbridge Cheney and Mary Bushnell.

Context note: Cataloging worksheet gives place of origin as Hartford, CT. Deford Dechert may have also been active in West Hartford.
