DescriptionView of a team of five or six horses pulling a large rolling cylinder down a snowy street. There is a man seated at the front of the apparatus, steering the horses, and another man sitting at the back. The machine is either clearing or compacting the snow. There are piles of snow on the side of the street, which is lined with houses.

Printed in black ink on verso in top right corner: A rectangular box composed of the word "VELOX" printed on each side with diamonds at each corner. "PLACE / STAMP / HERE" is printed in the middle of the box.
NotesDate note: Cataloging worksheet in object file gives date as 1900-25. Based on the Velox stamp with diamonds in the corners, on verso, the date may be circa 1907.
