DescriptionInterior view of the back sitting rooom in George Wells Cheney's house at 21 Hartford Road in South Manchester, Connecticut. The camera faces a wall that has three large, paned windows side by side, each framed with white opaque curtains. The trees and lawn outside are covered with snow. There is a small stained glass window above each of the larger windows. Several plants sit on a small ledge that protrudes from beneath the big windows. There is an armchair in the foreground on the left and a straight backed chair sitting in front of a slant front desk on the right.
