DescriptionFull length studio portrait of Emily Cheney Learned as a girl. She is standing on a decorative carpet with her left arm resting on top of a piece of furniture that is covered with a piece of cloth. In her left hand is a boater hat that is decorated with long ribbons and a few small flowers. Emily is wearing a dress and matching jacket with white stockings and black shoes. There is a large band of dark cloth around her waist. Her hair is short and straight, pulled back slightly with a ribbon that is tied in a bow on the top of her head. She has short bangs.
