DescriptionBust-length studio portrait of a man with a beard, wearing a coat, vest, shirt, and necktie.

The front and back of the leather-covered case are blind-stamped with simple borders and simple gilt-stamped borders are on the inner edges. The tan velvet pad and the oval brass mat are both embossed with a stylized pattern of flowers and leaves.
