NotesSubject Note: Lowell P. Weicker, Jr., was born in Paris, France in 1931. He graduated from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and the University of Virginia Law School, He served in the United States Army and the the Army Reserves. He was elected to the Connecticut General Assembly in 1962 and was reelected twice. He was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1968, and the United States Senate in 1970. He was reelected for two more terms after this. In 1990, Lowell P. Weicker, Jr., was elected Governor of Connecticut, and he was in office until January 1995.
