Description35 mm film of a pageant held on August 10, 1935, at Woodstock Academy during Connecticut’s Tercentenary, from the collection of Vernon C. Wetherell (1906-1971). Consists of the (a) original and (b) digitized versions of the film. There is no sound.
A group of women in day dresses, heels, and hats line the stage and are holding books. The orchestra besides the stage is shown. The women leave the stage and a group of people in historical costumes take the stage. Then an Indigeneous dwelling is shown on stage with people dressed in stereotypical Native clothing. The clip ends with the people in historical costumes returning and the audience dispersing.
