DescriptionCrocheted miser's purse of a teal color with gold-colored beads. The purse is divided into two identical sections, 1 7/8 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches long. Each side has a flap 1 1/4 inches long and 1 7/8 inches wide. The two sections are connected by nineteen, single-crochet strings that are 2 1/2 inches long. Each of these pass through - yes through - very small holes created at the point where each flap begins, thus creating the closure for each small square purse section. When the strings are pulled taut, the purse sections are tightly closed. A metal ring covered with the thread encircles all of these strings and acts as a loop from which to hang the purse on one's belt. The gold-colored metal beads decorate each flap and bottom in a looped filagree pattern.
