DescriptionOval portrait of Julia Taylor by William Ruthven Wheeler. Believed to be painted just prior to her 1867 marriage to John Ston Robinson. She is wearing a white off-the-shoulder bodice and a gray wrap, her shoulders bare. Her dark hair is parted in the center and gathered at the nape of her neck.
