DescriptionRimless pince-nez (.a) with a gold-plated spring bridge and clear, oval, bifocal lenses. The bifocals crescents are glued on to the lenses.

Rectangular, rigid, lizard skin-covered case (.b) that folds closed. The case has gold trim on the exterior edge. The case is lined with chamois. On the top of the case, a small metal circle has the letters "WWC".

MarkingsBoth sides of the bridge are stamped with the patent date, which is now badly worn from use of the pince-nez. The part of the patent date that is still legible is, "PAT/ June 5, 19".
