DescriptionPortrait of Catherine Mix by Richard Jennys. Mix is six years old. She is pictured bust-length and is turned very slightly to the left. She has brown eyes and dark blond hair. She is wearing a pale rose-colored dress with a square neckline which is trimmed with a broad white ruffle. There is an oval background around the subject, and the remainder of the background is darker.
