DescriptionWooden panel that was part of a four-panel door. With 1974.71.1 it comprises one picture. 1974.71.2 is a mythological ocean scene. The background is mostly water in light green tones with hints of white froth. The main part of the painting is a male figure clothed in a green loincloth, holding a scepter over his head in his right hand, and holding the reins of the two horse-like animals from 1974.71.1. He is standing in a shallow scalloped seashell, which is being drawn along the water by the horses. In the lower left corner is the head of a sea animal, which is blowing water from its nostrils.
