Description1902 advertising calendar for the Smith, Bourn & Company, manufactured by the Osborne Company. The base of the advertising calendar is black particle board. The information of the Smith, Bourn & Co. is printed on the upper left corner in white ink. A string is threaded through two holes at the top center of the board and formed into a loop for hanging. A black and white painted scene print is affixed at center of the board. The printed scene depicts a man and a woman riding in a two-seater carriage (Gig) pulled by a white horse, and a small black dog runs in front of the horse. The man and woman are both well-dressed and wearing hats. The woman is driving and holds a whip. A signature reading, "Tominz '95" appears in the lower right corner of the print. Stapled below the print are monthly tear-off calendar sheets of white ink on black construction paper. There is damage to the lower right corner and along the bottom edge.
