DescriptionPainting of Aaron (?) Gaylord, attributed to Johseph Steward. Gaylord is depicted in middle age, with long brown hair. He is wearing black breeches, white hose, a black coat, and white shirt with frills, and a white stock. He is sitting in a red chair, his right arm resting on a closed book on what appears to be a small table covered in red cloth. He is sitting in front of a half-wall with columns, behind which is a hilly landscape.
