NotesSubject Note: The Connecticut Heritage Music Series, a collaboration between the Charter Oak Cultural Center and CCHAP from September 1996 through June 1997, presented the music of ten different Connecticut ethnic groups on ten "First Thursdays" to coincide with the "Connect the Dots" downtown Hartford entertainment initiative. Funding was provided by the Connecticut Humanities Council and the Connecticut Commission on the Arts. CCHAP and Charter Oak had partnered to present an earlier series presenting five folk musicians in 1994-1995, and they also presented a third series in 1997-1998, all held at Charter Oak Cultural Center.Additional materials exist in the CCHAP archive for these artists and events.
