DescriptionBust-length portrait painting of actress Lizzie May Ulmer by Nelson Augustus Primus. Ulmer is turned to her right, the viewer's left, and her face is seen in profile. She has dark hair that is parted in the middle, pulled back from her face, and gathered at the back of her head. She is wearing a blue bodice trimmed with lace and a ruffled pink decoration, possibly a brooch. In her ears she wears drop earrings.
