DescriptionThis off-white, sleeveless dress was made from two square pieces of plain-woven silk (or silk/cotton) fabric, gathered at the top into 1 1/4-inch-wide filet lace, which edges the neckline and armholes. This floral-patterned filet also edges the hem. The filet at the neck is seamed at the shoulder, and the silk fabric is seamed at the sides. A decorative bow is made from 1/2-inch wide off-white silk ribbon; it sits two inches in from the left side seam on the front neckline of the dress. Two ribbons, approximately eleven inches long, extend from the bow.
