DescriptionCylindrical, pressed colorless glass humidor with a wooden lid. The humidor (.a) has a plain rim that is slightly narrower than the twelve-sided body, and a slightly inset bottom. There is one chip at the top corner of one of the twelve sides, and a ring of light scratches at the edge of the bottom.
The flat, round wooden lid (.b) that accompanies the humidor has an acorn-shaped finial in the center, with a double ring of incised lines surrounding the finial. The lid hangs over the edge of the rim of the humidor. Some of the varnish on the edge of the lid has begun to flake and peel off. It has also changed color to a yellow brown at some areas. This lid is probably not original to the humidor (see Curatorial Remarks).
