DescriptionWoman's tank top for running, made of white knit fabric with a shiny turquoise green stripe across the chest. The top has a scooped neckline, front and back, and is sleeveless. The back is slightly longer than the front, and the side seams are vented for 1 5/8 inches (measured from the front).

MarkingsWoven tape label stitched below the proper left shoulder strap on the front of the top, "NIKE" in gray on white. Label printed directly on the fabric inside the back of the neckline, "NIKE / S / MADE IN USA."NotesHistorical Note: According to the donor, she wore this shirt (2000.124.1) with shorts (2000.124.2) while she was a graduate student at Williams College to run in New York City. After her marriage, she wore it in West Hartford, Connecticut, when she worked at the Connecticut Historical Society.
