DescriptionFive identical paperboard matchbooks for Club Bath Chain, which had a location at 1169 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut. The matchbooks are black with the club's logo, "BC" in metalic silver on the front and, "CLUB / BATH / CHAIN" printed in silver on the reverse.

NotesSubject Note: Club Baths (CBC) was a chain of private all-male gay bathhouses successful prior to the AIDS epidemic. In the 1990s state and government agencies closed many of these types of clubs.
