NotesSubject Note: French Canadian Day was celebrated at the Connecticut State Capitol for several years during the mid-2010s. It was held in late June to honor St. Jean de Baptiste Day (June 24), a holiday in Quebec. Organized by Connecticut residents of French-Canadian descent, including State Representative Gary LeBeau, members of the East Hartford French Social Circle, and musician Daniel Boucher, the event included a raising of the flag of Quebec, traditional musical performances, and food.

Additional audio, video, and/or photographic materials exist in the archive relating to this event and artists.
