NotesBiographical Note: Won Ldy Paye is an author, storyteller, and educator writing and presenting stories and folk tales from his native Liberia. He lives in Harford and travels widely to perform and teach. He worked with teachers in several Connecticut schools as part of the Connecticut Office of the Arts’ HotSchools arts-in-education immersion program. Won-Ldy participated in the Southern New England Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program in Year 12 (2009-2010), teaching Liberian storytelling and presentation to fellow countryman Mayn Wontan of Mattapan, Massachusetts. Their connection and the apprentice’s learning enabled them to perform together the folk tales that feature two characters. They gave a theatrical presentation of several stories in a public program at the Mattapan Public Library. See also https://www.wonldypaye.com/
