DescriptionHead and shoulders portrait of a young woman facing right, almost in profile. She has dark brown/black hair, parted down the center, gathered tightly back at the sides, and bound very loosely at the nap of the neck or worn down and over the left shoulder (not shown). She has deep set dark eyes and dark eyebrows. She wears a blueish-white tulle drape around her bare shoulders. The canvas is in a rectangular gilt frame with a turtule shell pattern, with an oval opening for the portrait.
