DescriptionWoman's brassiere made of vertical strips of twill-woven cream-colored cotton, alternating with strips of machine-made lace in a floral pattern. The shoulder straps are made of the twill tape. The center front opening edges are boned and covered in twill tape; it fastens with six hooks and eyes. There is also a center back opening which is boned and laced with a silk cord finished with metal tips; the cord is laced through loops of twill tape. Additionally, there is vertical boning set under twill tapes on each side of the back and the front; in front, the boning is only half the brassiere's width. A three-inch-long loop of the twill tape hangs from each side of the center back opening, and a five-inch-long tape with a metal keyhole-shaped eye for attaching the girdle, hangs from the proper right side of the center front opening.
