DescriptionBlack metal, porcelain-lined Landers, Frary, & Clark Universal Gallon jug (a), Patent 1917, with an aluminum and plastic interior lid (b) and 4 aluminum bowl mess kit-lid (c-f). The jug (a) has a black painted exterior with a gold-painted stripe horizontal stripe, at the top and bottom. The jug features a metal and black painted wood handle. The interior of the jug is a removable white porcelain liner. The jug is closed with the interior lid (b), aluminum having a rubber seal, and a small round black plastic knob-style handle. The aluminum bowls (c-f) each have a folding handle so they can be used as a bowl or drinking vessel, bowls (c-e) stack together and fit into bowl (f) which serves as the exterior lid.
