DescriptionA charred multi-level platform has a small ladder and a large charred tent pole leaning on it. Some twisted metal folding chairs can be seen. Also at the top of the platform is what appears to be a charred organ, and to the right are two kettle drums. In the background are circus wagons and trailers and a large tent. This is probably where the band was performing when the fire started.

He only brought a small camera that day, because it was only a circus, not an event that warranted a large, bulky camera. The donor's aunt, who owned these photographs from 1944 until her death in 1993, was dating the man, but the donor does not know his name. (Hudson 2/2/2006)
